On Sunday 27th July 2025, in sunny Hertfordshire, on behalf of W Bro. Sanjiv Gohil, Metropolitan Grand Inspector, fellow Inspector Tony Shepherd was delighted to attend the annual Mercury Lodge No 5400 Summer BBQ.

W Bro Tony was afforded the privilege of presenting Bro Brian Shears, now a sprightly 92 years of age, with a 60 Year Long Service Certificate, with Lodge VO W Bro Len Cleary in support.

The BBQ was wonderfully and generously hosted by Mel and Janet Byrne.
