Haymarket Chapter No 6271 met at 10 Duke St on 8th January 2025, where E Comp Christo Hammes – who lives in southern Italy but makes the long journey to every meeting – was Installed as First Principal.

A visit was received from Metropolitan Grand Inspector E Comp Tony Shepherd and Visiting Officer E Comp David B Thompson, a couple of days after celebrating his 70th birthday. E Comp Tony presented a Supreme Grand Chapter Certificate to Comp Declan Reid, and he was escorted by Metropolitan Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, E Comp Philip Nicholson. Dinner was, in true Haymarket style, a lively affair, held within the elegant library of the ‘RAG Club’, on Pall Mall, SW1.
