Graham AC Cottington SLGR, PPJGD (East Kent), PZ writes:

On Friday 21st November, the Green Room Lodge No 2957 carried out the most spectacular meeting in its known history thus far.

WM W Bro Max Mayhew, assisted by his Brother, Joseph Mayhew as JD, initiated Mr Trevor Mayhew, their Father, in a fantastic ceremony at Freemasons’ Hall.

A faultless ceremony by Max and Joe and word perfect Antient Charge by W Bro Peter Thrush demonstrated to our Brethren and visitors what an amazing Lodge we are.

Also word-perfect presentations of the Working Tools by Bro Osman Sahinbozkir; and explanation of the White Gloves by W Bro Robbie Apps, rounded off a beautiful ceremony.

We were also honoured by an distinguished visitor, W Bro Constantine Arvanitis from the State of Victoria, Australia.

An equally enjoyable Festive Board was held, where we shared the evening with our friends from the Lodge of Happiness, with over 50 sitting down for dinner; making it a special evening for both their and our initiates. This included a visit from their Met Grand Inspector, W Bro David Varney.

A truly memorable evening!
