On Saturday 14th March 2026, Chaucer Chapter, No 1540 welcomed 16 Bulgarian Companions as Joining Members. They also found time to exalt Bro Shonn Gregory of Blackfriars Lodge, No 3722.

Congratulations go to all the members of Chaucer Chapter for their hard work and success in its regeneration. E Comp Robert Chaproniere, the Metropolitan Grand Inspector, who, in 2020, identified Chaucer Chapter for rejuvenation, returned this time as 2nd Metropolitan Grand Principal, to witness its renaissance. E Comp John Buckingham, who joined Chaucer Chapter in 2022, together with the other members of the Chapter, strove to make this happen.

The new members have a busy few weeks in front of them. On 15th April 2026, the Supreme Grand Chapter of Bulgaria will be consecrated and many of the new Companions are already planning various gatherings in Bulgaria; where they will welcome the many international visitors who will be attending this very special occasion.
