WHAT IS FREEMASONRY?

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations.

Ceres Lodge actively supports Masonic charities and has also supported a number of non-masonic charities over the years

Delve into the rich traditions of Freemasonry as we gather to celebrate our shared values and principles

We meet at Mark Masons’ Hall in St. James Street, London SW1A 1PL: https://markmasonshall.org.

The Kent Club for London Freemasons organises social events for Masons and their families.

Engage in enlightening discussions, partake in meaningful rituals, and forge lasting connections with fellow brethren

At Chingford Masonic Hall on 2nd November 2024, Coborn Lodge No.1804 received a visit from Metropolitan Grand Inspector W Bro Michael Aminzade, escorted by W Bro Anthony Codd. W Bro Michael witnessed a wonderful triple Initiation ceremony, as part of the Welcome Project, which was attended by seven newly Initiated Brethren.

Over 80 hungry members and guests then tucked into the traditional Coborn ‘very full English fry up’ for lunch. During the lunch proceedings, W Bro Tony Shepherd, Metropolitan Grand Inspector and Chairman of the Chingford Masonic Association, was presented with an incredibly generous donation of £500 towards the CMA’s annual Widows Christmas Lunch.

Held within the Chingford Masonic Hall, this Christmas Lunch aims to host the widows and a chaperone of the Metropolitan and Essex Lodges and Chapters who meet at Chingford.
